This personal photography project consists of the reinterpretation of the concept of self-portrait. The subjects of the images are playful and dreamy drawings made on a piece of glass by the person who's placing them in the environment around giving life to a dream that potentially starts with a self-projection.
This simple trick made by the power of photography and creativity gives the control to anyone to change the scene we live in. We could be anyone. We could do anything.
Maybe it's the desire to raise against injustice or just to have fun and let go.
Or perhaps to go back on time or to find love.
Drawing ourselves as a child, a superhero could reveal what's really behind that projection and maybe coming to know a bit more about ourselves.
RECOGNITIONS
This project has been published in Italy on different social media platforms and blogs in 2015.
It was a novelty and the followers on Instagram kept growing for a couple of weeks.
